I am a limited permit mental health counselor and a PhD candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Waynesburg University. But titles only tell you so much. What matters more to me is the space between people: the quiet moments when someone feels safe enough to be honest, and the steady, unglamorous practice of showing up day after day.

I am a licensed mental health counselor and a PhD candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Waynesburg University. But titles only tell you so much. What matters more to me is the space between people: the quiet moments when someone feels safe enough to be honest, and the steady, unglamorous practice of showing up day after day.

Five threads run through everything I do: counseling, supervision, teaching, research, and advocacy. They are not separate roles I switch between. They are different ways of expressing the same conviction — that we grow best when we grow together.

Outside of my professional roles, I am someone who finds meaning in quiet moments of reflection, in the honesty of a good conversation, and in the small, steady work of showing up. I believe that good counseling and good teaching are not so different. They both ask us to listen carefully, respond thoughtfully, and trust the process.

Let me tell you how I got here, and where I am going.
